What's the difference between having the operator place my call and making it myself?
It’s less expensive to make the call yourself.
Operator-handled calls require the immediate assistance of a person working for the phone company. Due to human intervention, there is an operator-handled surcharge for this service that is over and above any long distance fees.
The surcharge varies based on things that include your location and the location of the person you’re calling, the method you are using to pay for the call and other factors.
If you want to make an operator-assisted call, ask the operator what the surcharge will be before having the call connected.
I have a hum or static on my phone line.
Check each phone individually to see if it is causing static on the entire line. Disconnect and reconnect each phone one at a time to try to isolate the problem.
If possible, try another phone on the line (preferably not a cordless phone as they can pick up interference, even when not in use).
If removing a cordless phone fixes the problem, when you plug it back in try scanning for another channel that may be clear. If the static or hum continues, remove this phone from the line.
How do I dial overseas?
From your telephone, dial 011 plus the country code, plus the phone number. For international call costs, please refer to International rates at the bottom of the Long Distance page, here: CLICK ME
Do I need a dedicated line for a fax machine?
You do not need a dedicated line for a fax machine. You can also use the Distinctive Ring feature. The Distinctive Ring feature establishes additional telephone numbers on the same line as an existing number, each number ringing with a distinctive ringing pattern. You must make sure that your fax machine is Distinctive Ring compatible.
Name and number display isn't working.
This could be due to a number of reasons such as:
Your telephone set is not equipped with name/number display. Consult your telephone set’s user manual to verify its capabilities.
The party calling you has chosen to block their name/number.
The call is coming from businesses using a Centrex line.
The call is from overseas.
The call is coming from another service provider that is not sharing the call information with Quadro.
My Call Display only shows the number and not the name.
Some phones are equipped to show only the number, while others show the number or the name, one at a time. To toggle back and forth, try using either the arrow key or the * button. Check your phone’s user manual to see which one applies for your phone.
How do I access my voicemail when I am away from home?
Dial your phone number.
Press the * key while your greeting is playing.
Enter your PIN when prompted.
Press the # key.
How do I activate Call Forwarding?
From the phone line you are forwarding, lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Dial the number where you want your calls forwarded.
When the phone is answered, your call forward is activated.
How do I deactivate Call Forwarding?
From the phone line you have forwarded, lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
Listen for two beeps then hang up.
It is now deactivated.
I need an IP Message Relay service link.

What is my voicemail password or how do I reset it?
When your voicemail was activated you were given a 4 digit pin to access your messages. To change your pin, please follow the voicemail guide below. If you continue to have trouble please contact Quadro Support.
I have no dial tone. What do I do?
Be sure all your telephone sets are plugged in and properly hung up.
Check to see if your phone will work in another jack on the same phone line.
If possible, try another telephone (preferably not a cordless phone as these can pick up interference).
Unplug all your equipment from the jacks on that phone line and try one phone on its own as this ensures that no other equipment is causing the problem.
If you still have no dial tone, please contact Quadro Support at 519-229-8933 and choose option 1 to further troubleshoot.
Do I have to enter my security pin/password every time I check my voicemail?

How do I activate call forwarding?
To activate call forwarding press *72 on your telephone. Once you hear the audible tone then enter the forwarding number. Press * 73 on your telephone to remove call forwarding.
