Congratulations to the 2019 Quadro Scholarship Recipients!

Congratulations to Jake Binkley (Pictured left with Quadro’s G.M. John DeHeer and Leanne Luelo, C.S.R. at our Kirkton location), Noah Jessome (Pictured Centre with John and Caitlin Fergusson, C.S.R.) and Jacob Shuker (Pictured right with John and Samantha McCann, C.S.R. at Quadro’s Mitchell location), our 2019 scholarship recipients. Jake is entering his second year of studies at Fanshawe College in Computer Systems Technology. Noah is entering his third year at the University of Ottawa in the Honours Bachelor of Commerce, with a Marketing option. Jacob is entering his fourth year of studies at Carleton University in the Public Affairs and Policy Management program. We wish not only our three recipients, but all students continued success in your educational pursuits.

Quadro Scholarship

Quadro Communications Co-operative Inc. encourages the youth within Quadro’s service areas to continue their studies at a post-secondary institution. Quadro is committed to offering two $1,000 scholarship opportunities.


End of business day (4:30 pm) on Friday July 31st

Scholarship Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship

  • The applicant must be entering their second, third or fourth year of undergraduate studies at a Canadian University or College. Preference will be given to students enrolled in one of the following programs:
    • Business Program
    • Technical program with an emphasis on Electronics and Telecommunications.
  • The applicant must provide proof of enrollment and provide the application form.
  • The applicant must maintain a principal residence, when not at school, where a Quadro membership is held.
  • The applicant must write a 500 – 750 word (max) submission by choosing one of the questions in the application form.

Scholarship – What you should know

  • Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in either a business program with an emphasis on marketing or a technical program with an emphasis on electronics or telecommunications.
