Quadro’s Website Earns Recognition

June 10, 2020

Best in Class IAC Awards 2020

Kirkton, ON, June 10, 2020 – This Spring at the Web Marketing Association’s 2020 Internet Advertising Competition (IAC Awards), Quadro and its website partner, tbk Creative were awarded the ‘Best Telecommunication Website’ for the new Quadro corporate site launched in 2019.

Web Marketing Association (WMA) was founded in Boston in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and corporate web development on the World Wide Web. Staffed by volunteers, this organization is made up of Internet marketing, advertising, PR and design professionals who share an interest for improving the quality of advertising, marketing and promotion used to attract visitors to corporate Web sites.

Recognizing that it was time to renew the Quadro website to provide a better overall experience for its visitors and users, Quadro launched an exhaustive search for a web development partner that reflected the values of the Cooperative, mainly, putting our customers, vendors and visitors first. tbk Creative was selected in a stiff competition and the work began.

“As a near century-old, telecommunications company it was a delight to work with the great team at Quadro on their new corporate website,” said Andrew Schiestel, President, tbk.  “A broad region of Ontario relies on Quadro for their telecommunications needs. This award-winning website will allow Quadro to better connect with new customers and service the important customers they have now.”

“Working with tbk was seamless and an enjoyable experience for the Quadro team involved in this substantial project. We are elated with the results and have noticed a significant increase in traffic to our new site” says Shannon Smith, Sales & Marketing Manager at Quadro Communications.

The new site was successfully launched in August of 2019, with a responsive design and improved user experience. We are excited that the work undertaken to improve our users experience has been recognized by our peers within the Web Marketing Association.
