Quadro Email Discontinued
Why @quadro.net email will be decommissioned
As part of our ongoing efforts to modernize our systems and maintain reliable services, Quadro will be discontinuing the @quadro.net email platform.
Usage of ISP-provided email services has steadily declined over the years, while the technology required to maintain them has become more complex and resource-intensive. Transitioning away from this platform allows Quadro to focus on delivering the best possible internet and communication services to our communities while helping customers move to modern platforms designed specifically for email.
Reliability
Operating and maintaining an email platform requires significant infrastructure and ongoing maintenance. Major providers offer higher uptime, stronger delivery reliability, and seamless access across devices including smartphones, tablets, and computers.
Modern Email Experience
Many modern email platforms provide features that legacy systems cannot easily support, including:
- Large mailbox storage
- Advanced spam filtering
- Powerful search tools
- Automatic syncing across devices
- Integrated calendars and productivity tools
These services are widely available and free to use, making them a reliable long-term solution for personal email.
Similar decisions are being made by other regional providers as maintaining legacy email systems becomes increasingly challenging.
Security
Email accounts are a common target for hackers and malicious activity. Even a single compromised account can affect the reputation of an entire email domain.
Large providers such as Google (Gmail) and Microsoft (Outlook) invest heavily in advanced security, spam protection, and threat detection to help keep your information safe.
