What I have found in my search of the Hasson Family

In my search of the Hasson family, I find that the family in Canada is mainly Irish. With one of the family's coming from England. There are Four different family's of Hasson's here. Two in Ont. and Two in New Brunswick. One of the New Brunswick Family's comes from England.

While researching the name Hasson, I came across a lot of raw information on the family. Lots of stories of the Hasson's origin's. There is a large Jewish Hasson population in the USA. Most of them came from Greece, Turkey and the Middle East area.

Also I have come across four different Coat of Arms. Though I'm not clear on which Coat goes with which branch of the family.

Some of the Jewish Hasson's I have talked to believe, That the Hasson's were all Jewish at one time. and had emigrated to Holland, England and Ireland. During the time of the crusades. Some think that during the Spanish War with England, In 1588 there were Hasson's aboard an Armada that sank off the coast of Ireland in 1613.

The Hasson family had control of the 12 townland's in the county Londondeary, But in 1613 the Hasson's couldn't rub two pennies together. ( like most other families of the time) Thanks to Oliver Cromwell and the English!

I have amassed many, Many pages of information on Hasson Family's: Marriages, Deaths, Birth's, Wills...etc. on the Hasson's of Canada and the USA. Also A large address book of Hasson's around the world. And would be happy to pass it along. All I ask is that you do the same for other Hasson's that might be looking for information.
