Web Browers

Internet Explorer (Download)
The most popular browser around at the moment. This is mainly due to it being integrated into every version of Windows since Windows 95 was released, making it a universal web browser (any computer that runs Windows has Internet Explorer). It has many features and is a very good all around browser.

Netscape Communicator (Download)
Netscape has lost a lot of ground in recent years to Microsoft Internet Explorer, mainly due to the latest releases of Windows incorporating stable and feature-rich versions of IE. Netscape provides a nice alternative to IE yet doesn't really offer any advantages over its competitor besides a slightly different interface.

Opera (Download)
This web browser has been gaining in popularity in the last couple of years as a viable alternative to the two "big" browsers listed above. It offers some innovative features such as the ability to add skins and display more than one web page in the same window. It is a relatively small download.

Mozilla (Download)
Mozilla is an alternative to Internet Explorer. The latest version is called Firefox and offers such features as tabbed browsing, the ability to add extensions and plug-ins to the browser and many other unique features that compliment this stable browser.

Why does my web browser always prompt me to dial-up when I first start it? I am a high-speed customer!
Internet Explorer is still set to dial in to the Internet from a previous account you had set-up. Click on Tools and then click Internet Options. From there select the Connections tab and below the white area you will have the option to select "Never dial a connection". Select this by clicking on the circle to the left of it and then click Ok at the bottom of the screen and try refreshing your page.

Why does my home page change without my consent?
The most likely cause of this is Spyware. Please see the corresponding web page on the main technical support page of this web site.
