Call Before You Dig!

When it comes to digging, you have a choice:

Call for a FREE locate
or
Damage the cable and pay for all wire and cable repairs, including replacement and other incurred costs.

The choice is yours

It is vitally important that you obtain a service locate from Quadro before you do any excavation work on your property. This includes driveways, home additions, installing pools, post holes for decking or fencing, and even putting in a new garden. Grade changes since the original installation may mean that even shallow excavations may expose the wires.

Protect someone's lifeline (9-1-1 access). Statistically, a damaged wire has an 80% probability of needing replacement within 5 years due stress on splice kits from frost and settling trenches. Even a small shovel nick can let water migrate into the cable over time, affecting voice and data transmissions, making replacement necessary.

Please allow as much lead-time as possible (minimum 48 hours) to ensure that your telephone service wires are located before you plan to begin work.  Please have your 9-1-1 address and other pertinent information ready.  Call 611 OR 229-6100 or Email.

Please note Ontario 1 Call requires at least one week before your project will begin to locate your utilities. Quadro Communications is a member of Ontario 1 Call and will receive a request for locate from them if you use their service.
