How to Use Your Calling Card

In North America dial 1-800-320-5434 and follow the automated instructions to complete the call. You will be prompted to enter your calling card number and PIN as well as the number you are calling.

Before traveling overseas, check for the most current country access codes by clicking this Canada Direct® link, or dialing 1-800-561-8868.  Canada Direct® may also be able to provide the per minute rate for the country you are traveling to if you call them at 1-800-561-8868.  Canada Direct® rates are better than those of foreign carriers.

Be Aware

When traveling you may occasionally encounter hotels or payphones whose carrier re-routes Canada Direct® calls to an alternative operator. This means that you could end up paying siginificantly more per minute than the Canada Direct® rate. If the automated Canada Direct® systems is not available, hang up and try your call from another location.  A fraudulent operator will probably say there is a problem with your Calling Card and then ask for a credit card number. Do not give any credit card information.

Changing your Personal Identification Number (PIN)

You may keep the PIN provided with your card or select your own at any time by calling
1-877-554-4555 and following the instructions. Always keep your Calling Card number and PIN secure and confidential. If you are selecting your own PIN never pick one which can be easily identified or guessed. Personal Identification Numbers cannot begin with a zero or one.
