    Using Call Waiting

    To answer a waiting call:
    1. When you hear beeps, press and release the switch hook located on the phone receiver or press
    the link or flash button on your handset.

    2. To return to the original call or to alternate between callers, press and release the switch
    hook located on the phone receiver or press the link or flash button.

    3. To end the first call before answering the second, hang-up. The phone will ring with the second call.

    Using Visual Call Waiting

    Using Call Forwarding

    To Turn Call Forwarding ON:
    1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.

    2. Dial * 72

    3. Dial the number where you want your calls forwarded.

    4. When the phone is answered, your call forward is in effect.

    NOTE: If the line is busy, or there is no answer - Hang up. Within two minutes, repeat steps above.
    You will hear a confirmation tone to let you know your Call Forward is now working.

    To CANCEL Call Forwarding:
    1. Lift the receiver and press *73. Listen for two beeps then hang up.

  • Call Forward on Busy

    Trasfer incoming calls to a specified telephone number when the line is busy.

    Using Call Forward on Busy

    To Turn Call Forward on Busy ON:
    1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.

    2. Dial * 72

    3. Dial the number where you want your calls forwarded.

    4. When the phone is answered, your call forward is in effect.

    NOTE: If the line is busy, or there is no answer - Hang up. Within two minutes, repeat steps above.

  • Three Way Calling

    Talk to two people in two different places at one time.

    Using Three Way Calling

    To activate three way calling:
    1. While on the one and you wish to include a third person press the “flash” button

    2. Dial the third person person’s number

    3. When the third person is on the line press the “flash button” again, you are now connected on three-way calling.

    To CANCEL Three Way Calling:
    1. If the third person did not answer or you wish to disconnect them, just press and quickly release the "flash" or “link” button.
    You will be reconnected to the person holding.

    2.If either of the two people hang up, you can continue talking with the remaining person.

    To end the call completely, simply hang up.

    Add the convienence of an extra telephone number to your existing line with its
    own identified ring pattern. The distinctive ring featurs is Ideal for customers who
    have a fax machine but do not wish to have a second phone line.

  • Simultaneous Ringing 5 Numbers

    Program up to 5 phone numbers to ring simultaneously when a main number is dialed.
     (Numbers can be local, long distance or cellular phone numbers)

    Using Simultaneous Ringing on Copper Technology

    To Access Sim Ringing :
    1. Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone.

    2. Press *87

    3. A Sim Ring announcement will tell you that your Simultaneous Ringing service is either on or off and then
    will allow you to activate or deactivate Sim Ring and add or delete phone numbers from your list.
     


    To Activate or Deactivate Sim Ringing:
    1. Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone.

    2.Press 3 to change from inactive to active, or from active to inactive.
    Deactivating Sim Ring will not erase the phone numbers in your Sim Ring list of phone numbers.
     


    To add a phone number to your Sim Ring list:
    1. Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone.

    2. Press *87

    3.Press # (phone number) #
    You must enter the phone number exactly as you would normally.  For example: A long distance number could be added as #1 519 555 5555#.
     


    To hear the phone numbers on your list:
    1. Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone.

    2. Press *87

    3. Press 1 and the number(s) will be spoken to you
     


    To delete a number on your list:
    1. Press * during the silent period after the number is spoken.

    2. The menu will talk you through the settings.
     


    Using Simultaneous Ringing on Fibre and Coax Technology

    1. Contact Quadro at 519-229-8933 to add or delete SIM Ring numbers.
    You can also change these numbers manually by subscribing to the comportal feature for $5/mo.

    2. Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone.

    3. Press *361 to turn sim ring ON.

    4. Press *362 to turn sim ring OFF.
     

  • Name & Number Display

    Allows you to see the name and number of the incoming call.

    More Details

    Requires a phone with a display screen.

    Details:
    1. When you receive a call, wait until your telephone completes the first ringing signal.

    2. The telephone number calling you - and the name associated with that number in the telephone company records - will automatically appear on your display screen.

    3. If you choose to answer the call, the name and number will remain on the screen until you or the caller hangs up.

  • Call Return *69 & *66

    Hear the last number to call your phone or be notified when a busy line becomes free.

    When using *69 Get the phone number of the last person who called, whether or not the call was answered.
    1. Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone.

    2. Press *69

    3. The telephone number of the last call received will be announced, allowing you the option of returning the call.
     

    When using *66 Monitors a busy line and lets you know when the line is free.
    1. If the line is busy, hang up.  Lift the receiver and press *66

    2. The line will be monitored for 30 minutes.

    3. A short-short-long ring will let you know when the line is free.

     

  • Call Screen

    Add a number to a call screen list to avoid calls from unlisted numbers or telemarketers

    3. Follow the prompts. You have the option to:
    • Add a telephone number to your list.
    • Remove a telephone number from your list.
    • Hear your list of currently screened telephone numbers.
    • Add the number of the last person that called you.
    • Replay the voice announcement prompts.

  • Voicemail

    Callers can leave you voicemail when you're on the phone.
